耐张线夹主要用于架空电力线路或变电所固定导线和避雷线，并通过连接金具与耐张绝缘子相连，或将避雷线与杠塔相连。按结构安装方式的不同分为螺栓式、
压缩型和楔型三大类，压缩性又分为分液压和爆压两种
产品型号中字母数字的意义为：
N-耐张线夹 L-螺栓型 D-倒装式 B-爆压型
数字表示适用导线组合号（或适用钢绞线标称截面，分子表示铝截面，分母表示钢截面）
附加字母：A-引流0 B-引流30
螺栓型耐张线夹的曲率半径补小于被安装导线直径的8倍。耐张线夹导线的最小握力与导线计算拉断力的百分比如下表：
