With its new site at the Haikou Industrial Park by the Dianchi Lake,

Yunnan New Coppersmith Industrial Co., Ltd. was established in 2002 by

restructuring the former Kunming Metallurgical Plant Copper Plate &

Strip Sub-plant, a state-own enterprise. With the development for a

decade, the company took shape and has become the largest

comprehensive enterprise for processing and producing copper materials

and electric power fittings in Yunnan Province.

In recent years, the company began to devote itself to the development

and production of electric power fittings on the basis of its steady

development in the processing of copper materials. With an

accumulative investment up to RMB 150 million yuan within the

industrial park, the company has completed a new automatic production

line for processing copper materials and a production line of electric

power fittings, and won the honorary title of “Hi-Tech Enterprise in

Kunming”.

Since its setting-up, the company has been devoting itself to the

scientific innovation and technical progress so as to raise its

competitive force and has set up a set of scientific production and

sales management system by persisting in the scientific management and

the idea of “stability, honesty and sustainable development” to have

ensured the quality of its products in various links of procurement,

production, quality control and sales, thus passing the certification

of ISO9001:2000 Quality System in 2004. The company has expanded

fields of its investment in a stable way and begun to set foot in

several enterprises for the research and development of wires and

cables (Kunming Yaolong Wire & Cable Co., Ltd.), plug-board bus bars,

cable brackets (Kunming Tianjing Electric Equipment Co., Ltd.), the

research and development of precious metals (Kunming New Coppersmith

Rare & Precious Metals Sci-Tech Co., Ltd.), and the recovery and

utilization of nonferrous metals (Kunming New Coppersmith Renewable

Resources Recovery Co., Ltd.). With the continuous extension of the

industrial chain, the company has introduced and trained a rank of
